Standard Ethics

Info French Index

The Standard Ethics French Index was launched on 30th of June 2015, with the initial value of 10,000.

Purpose

The purpose of the Standard Ethics French Index is to measure, over time, the stock market's confidence concerning OECD, EU and UN voluntary guidelines and indications on Sustainability and Corporate Governance. Each Standard Ethics Index is an Open Free Sustainability Index and offers full disclosure: the methodology, selection criteria, and calculation formula are public, and can therefore be used for free as a benchmark by decision makers and stakeholders. It is neither a financial product nor is it marketed to finance firms, banks, or investment funds.

Constituents

The Index consituents are the 40 major French listed companies.

The weights of the individual constituents will be derived from the solicited or unsolicited Corporate Standard Ethics Rating (SER) assigned to each company.

Rebalancing and Review

The Index, being weighted according to a Corporate SER, is active and therefore rebalanced monthly.

The Index is reviewed every six months, at the end of the first and third quarter.

Changes to ratings will be recorded only on the dates when the review is scheduled to take place.
